Sri Ramakrishna Sharadashrama, Ponnampet
Sri Ramakrishna Saradashrama, located in Ponnampet, Kodagu (Coorg), has been serving society since its establishment in 1927. The ashrama is committed to addressing the various needs of the community, including healthcare, education, socio-cultural-religious activities, and relief operations during times of natural disasters. Its services are provided without any discrimination based on caste, creed, color, race, religion, language, or socio-economic status.
Over the years, Sri Ramakrishna Saradashrama has had the privilege of hosting visits from national leaders, leaders of various sects, and senior monks of the Ramakrishna Order. Notable personalities who have visited the ashrama include Mahatma Gandhi in 1934, Vinoba Bhave in 1957, and numerous other freedom fighters who originated from Kodagu.

Spiritual Retreat, January 2026
Sri Ramakrishna Sharadashrama, Ponnampet, conducted a spiritual retreat and Sri Sharada Devi Puja on 3 January 2026. The programme featured Vedic chanting, Lalita Sahasranama, bhajans, spiritual discourse, puja, and Maha Mangalarati, drawing around 100 devotees for a serene spiritual gathering.
